LacertA's king of red wines, Cuvée IX, is a blend where three aromatic varieties representative of the winery (Merlot, Fetească Neagră, and Shiraz) are supported by the strong structure of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%). The result is an intense red wine with brick-red nuances, full-bodied yet elegant, balanced, with complex aromas of red and black berries, sour cherries, currants, and green spices, complemented by notes of barrel aging (vanilla, coffee, smoke).
It pairs very well with many meat dishes, from turkey or duck roast to rare-cooked beef steak.
Depending on how many guests you have for dinner, it can be tried in several formats: 0.75 l if you are just with family; 1.5 liters if you have invited another couple; 3 liters if there are 3-4 couples, or even 6 liters if you have more guests or plan a longer evening.
